"IMatter Community Art Projects

"IMatter" Hudson Valley

Upon moving to Saugerties, NY, "IMatter" Director, Rob Goldman quickly realized the potential of the project's impact in the Hudson Valley region. With "IMatter" Hudson Valley, beginning with Kingston,  we will shift our focus from youth to women.   We are currently seeking public and private funding to launch "IMatter" Hudson Valley in the fall of 2023.  Please consider supporting this vital expansion...because everyone deserves to be seen. Contact Director, Rob Goldman to learn how you can support our efforts.

"IMatter" New Haven

In partnership with the City of New Haven, we have created a city-wide Compassion Campaign that will feature large-scale banners on buildings, window graphics in vacant storefronts, and illuminated 3D installations. We aim to enroll and unite the Greater New Haven community in bold, honest communication regarding the social and emotional challenges facing their youth while simultaneously beautifying the city.

"IMatter" Voices

"IMatter" Voices initiates vital dialogue between generations. Youth featured in “IMatter” installations are invited to candidly share their compelling stories. This insightful, private listening experience offers an opportunity to learn about the issues that today's youth are facing directly from teens and young adults. These excerpts of long-form interviews –"IMatter" Moments – are also broadcasted on radio programs and podcasts. Click here to hear Sierra's "IMatter" Moment.

Lesniak Recovery High School

The Raymond J. Lesniak Recovery High School, New Jersey's first recovery high school, celebrated their opening with an "IMatter" Project that enhanced their walls with images and messages of hope and pride. According to The Star-Ledger, "Recovery schools have not only proven to be effective, they are cost efficient. The education establishment needs to embrace and support the programs that combine education and recovery. The lives and well-being of young people are at stake." Read the article
